What to expect from us
Residential care is a unique and powerful space. It holds the potential for deep healing, connection and transformation. It is where children live, grow and begin to rebuild their sense of safety and trust. And it is where adults show up every day with compassion, courage and skill to hold that space for them. But that is easier said than done.
At The Care Revolution, our team are experienced childcare practitioners, Registered Managers and a Responsible Individual and Director who are now trainers, assessors and consultants. We have not stepped back from the sector. We are still in it. We bring decades of direct experience, a deep understanding of what residential care actually feels like from the inside, and a proven track record of achieving Outstanding outcomes with the teams and homes we have worked with.
We understand the weight of the role. The practical, emotional and relational demands that residential care teams carry every single day, often in high intensity environments, often without enough recognition for how skilled and courageous that work truly is.
That is why everything we do goes beyond compliance. Our training and consultancy is rooted in the principles of Dyadic Developmental Practice, the latest thinking on developmental trauma, and shaped by real, lived experience in children's homes. We do not deliver off the shelf programmes. We work alongside teams to understand their home, their children and their culture, and we build from there.
We are focused on one thing above everything else. Helping teams build homes where children feel safe enough to heal. Not through tools and techniques alone, but through love, consistency, attunement and a culture that holds everyone in it.
